Georgakis House is one of the traditional village houses, which line the Kioni waterfront and enjoy superb and unobstructed views across the bay.
The owners have restored the house carefully to preserve its original nineteenth Century character and have created an attractive home.

The ten to fifteen minute walk from Kioni waterfront to the Hilltop House is steep in parts but will reward the escapist. This is the only private house in Kioni to have a swimming pool.

Phoebe is a large, traditional island house which has been converted with care to produce a beautiful private home. From its hillside position, about ten minutes’ walk away from Kioni waterfront, the house’s large flagstoned verandah and balcony provide spectacular views across silver olive trees and Kioni Bay.

Frikes is a small port just a few kilometres north of Kioni. Five tavernas are set above the village waterfront and beach.

The local word “apaggio” means a peaceful recluse. From Vathy a road winds its way seven kilometres south to the site of Arethusa’s Fountain, where Homer’s Eumaeus brought his pigs to drink.
